From the Arkansas Activities Association: We are very excited to announce a new partnership between the Arkansas Activities Association and the American Cancer Society.
This fall, we are encouraging every AAA athletic team and activities club to join the fight against cancer! The AAA has designated the week of October 6th through October 14th as our official Fall “AAA Fights Cancer Week”. Participation is as simple as designating one of your home games or matches during that week to raise funds and bring awareness. Then, registering your team on https://acsengage.org/ArkansasAA. Upon registering, Kelly Hurley, an American Cancer Society staff partner, will reach out to help answer any questions and help set you up for success. We will be highlighting schools that participate, so make sure you take pictures during your fundraising efforts and tag us!
Funds raised through this partnership will go directly to support the American Cancer Society’s mission, which includes life-saving research and patient programs and services available right in your community! Additionally, participating will teach your student athletes the importance of community in addition to satisfying community service hour requirements.
