The Bulldogs opened up their season this past Friday with a win against the Trojans, 20-14. They return to the Bulldog Stadium this Friday as we host the Melbourne Bearkatz. Go Dogs!

Interested in joining the trap team? All 5th–12th grade students, both new and returning, who are interested in joining the trap team for the 25-26 trap season are invited to an informational meeting on Tuesday, September 16, at 7:00 PM in the elementary cafeteria.
This week in Bald Knob Sports.
There will be no school on Monday, September 1st in observance of Labor Day. There will also be no school on Tuesday, September 2nd for a staff PLC day.
Some folks call it luck… Dr. Davis calls it good leadership, he stopped by a class today right when the lesson on making pizza biscuits was getting started. He decided to make one with the students and said the hardest part of his job today was making sure they tasted just right.
The Bulldogs opened up their season last night hosting the Southside Southerners. The 7th grade Bulldogs fell to the Southerners 24-20. The Junior High Bulldogs started the night off strong but were not able to hold off the Southerners with a 24-14 win against the Bulldogs.
The Lady Bulldogs also competed strong with the Junior Lady Bulldogs able to pick up a win against the Riverview Raiders.
The Senior Bulldogs return to the field tonight against the Trojans at Marianna. Let's Go Dogs!

The golf match scheduled for today, 8/28/25, at River Oaks has been canceled due to weather conditions.
These two ladies worked hard this summer packing and unpacking the BKHS media center due to the carpet and tiles being torn up throughout the building. They have worked hard to make the space as welcoming as possible. Thank you, ladies, for all you do to connect our students to reading.
The Lady Bulldogs opened up their Volleyball season hosting Batesville last night. Unfortunately the ladies struggled and fell to the Pioneers in all contests. They look to come back strong on the court tonight at Newport with games starting with 7th grade at 4:30pm. Go Dogs!

The Lady Bulldog Volleyball and Bulldog Golf had a very successful evening Thursday. The Lady Bulldogs began their pre-season with a Jamboree hosted by Newport where they split their two matches. The Lady Bulldogs were able to secure a 2-0 win over Palestine Wheatley. In their second match they fell to the host. Volleyball opens up their season on Monday, August 25th at home against Batesville. Bulldog Golf had another successful day at the Bald Knob Country Club. Medalist from yesterday's matches were Jayden Rhew and Drew Jackson. The Bulldogs had 4 in top 5; Nic Roberts, Jackson Wammack, Gavin Mitsunaga, and Wyatt Downs. Golf returns to the course on Monday at Vilonia Cypress Creek.

The August Bald Knob School Board Meeting is today at 5:15 pm in the district administration office.
At their preseason scrimmage last night at Palestine the Bulldogs fall to Palestine Wheatley. The team will open up their season next week at Lee County High School in Marianna.
Bald Knob Bulldog Golf hosted their first match of the season yesterday at the Bald Knob Country Club. The Bulldog Golf team came away with the team win. Junior Gavin Mitsunaga was yesterday's medalist. Jayden Rhew, Nick Roberts, Jackson Wammack, Wyatt Downs, and Gavin James were all in the top 10. The Lady Bulldogs came away with 2nd as a team with senior Drew Jackson finishing in the top 3. The Bulldogs are back in action in their next match hosted again by the Bulldogs at the Bald Knob Country Club with tee off at 4pm.

This Friday, August 22nd and Saturday, August 23rd the Lady Bulldog Volleyball teams are hosting their first Little Lady Bulldog Clinic. Congratulations to the Lady Bulldog and Bulldog Golf teams on yesterday's match achievements at Village Creek Country Club in Newport. The Lady Bulldogs were able to come away with a 2nd place finish with a score of 110 from senior Drew Jackson and a 4th place finish with a score of 120 from senior Lillian Watson. The Bulldogs came away with 1st place as a team with a score of 236. Jayden Rhew, Nic Roberts, and Gavin Mitsunaga all came away within the top 5 individually. Go Dogs!
