Congratulations to the Lady Bulldog and Bulldog Golf teams on yesterday's match achievements at Village Creek Country Club in Newport. The Lady Bulldogs were able to come away with a 2nd place finish with a score of 110 from senior Drew Jackson and a 4th place finish with a score of 120 from senior Lillian Watson. The Bulldogs came away with 1st place as a team with a score of 236. Jayden Rhew, Nic Roberts, and Gavin Mitsunaga all came away within the top 5 individually. Go Dogs!

Attention mothers of senior high Bulldogs. We cordially invite you to a Friday night football clinic with your sons. You will learn to run an offensive play as well as receive information about the equipment your son wears to play the game. If you have any questions please contact Coach Roberson @ 501-230-2614.

Here are the schedules for the 2025 youth football season! The Jamboree will be on August 23rd at Heber Springs. No times or schedule has been released for the jamboree as of yet.

Elementary Open House is tonight from 5-7pm. Come meet your teacher and take a tour of the campus. We can't wait to see you!

📵Bell to Bell, No Cell 📵
The Arkansas Legislature has passed Act 122 – The Bell to Bell, No Cell Act, which goes into effect for all public schools statewide starting with the 2025–2026 school year.

This means that during the school day—from the first bell to the last bell—students are not allowed to use personal electronic devices. This includes:
✅ Cell phones
✅ Smartwatches
✅ Tablets
✅ Wireless earbuds/headphones
✅ Portable gaming devices
✅ Any device capable of Bluetooth communication

The goal of this law is to reduce distractions, protect mental health, and help students stay focused on learning.

🚦What This Means for Bald Knob Schools:
✔️ Devices must be powered off and put away in a backpack or Yonder pouch during the school day.
✔️ This applies during class, hallways, restrooms, lunch, and recess.

🚨Allowed Exceptions:
• Devices required for health reasons

🎯 Violations will follow the disciplinary procedures outlined in the Bald Knob Student Handbook, which includes device confiscation and parent notification.

Let’s work together to protect instruction time, minimize distractions, and help our Bulldogs stay focused and ready to learn!

I have also attached the remind number and code for joining. If you are a 4th grader join the 5th grade remind. The remind codes can be found on the BKPS Facebook page.

The first 4th-6th grade Pee Wee football practice will be Thursday 6-8pm on the HS practice field. Athletes will need their helmets and cleats!

2026 Senior Banner picture make up date is August 8th at 9:00am-10:30am. If you did not attend the first banner picture date, please assure you attend this make up date!

July School Board meeting is tonight at 5:15 pm in the district office.

Fall sport season is just around the corner! Lets get ready to support all of our fall sport athletes as they get ready to enter their competition season! Go Dogs!

The next round of Pee Wee Football sign ups will be Thursday July the 17th 4-6pm at the field house. Cost: $60 Grades: 4-6th

Registration packets for ALL schools will be available to pick up July 7-10 at the Middle School office. Pick up times will be on Monday & Wednesday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and on Tuesday and Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

There will be a school board meeting tonight, June 24, at 6:00 p.m.

There will be a Band Instrument Testing night on Monday, July 14, from 6-8 PM in the MS Band Room. This is a drop in event, so you may at any time during this time frame. Expect to be there for approximately 20 minutes.

Bald Knob Senior Banner pictures for 2026 seniors are scheduled for July 11th from 9:00am-10:30am at the High School Gymnasium. All senior athletes as well as seniors participating in marching band and choir need to be present for the banner pictures.

Bald Knob School District is looking for motivated individuals who are interested in running the Pee Wee Football program. If you are interested please contact Coach Roberson at 501-230-2614.

All 7th grade football players will report for summer practice at 9am on Monday July 7th at the fieldhouse. They will need to bring a copy of their current physical that day. Make sure they are in athletic attire and have cleats & tennis shoes with them.

The last dates to register for PeeWee cheer will be June 18th and 19th from 3-6pm in the Safe Room Gym. You will need to bring your cheerleader to be fitted for a uniform at that time.
