Out of an abundance of caution and being advised that the potential for severe storms will increase during the afternoon, the Bald Knob School District will dismiss at 1:30 p.m. today. We will stay with students if you are not able to be here promptly at 1:30 PM.
The safety of your child is our number one concern. With severe conditions possible today, we are monitoring the weather very closely. Should severe weather break out and a warning is issued for our area, rest assured your child will be in a storm shelter on one of the Bald Knob School District campuses. If weather conditions are severe at the end of the school day, there is a chance students may be sent to shelter. At that time, students will not be allowed to check out until the weather threat passes and they are released from the shelter. All after school activities are canceled. The district will keep you informed through the school/parent messaging system, live feed online, and Facebook.
