The Bald Knob School District is proud to announce that both of our high school basketball teams will play tomorrow night in the White County Central Annual Basketball Tournament. Both teams are competing for tournament champions. The game times have been altered to: High School Boys will play at 5:00 and High School Girls will play at 6:30. We invite you to come out and support our teams and cheer them on for the win. Both games will be held in the White County Central School District's gym. Go Dog!
The Bald Knob School District has 4 new positive COVID-19 cases at H. L. Lubker Elementary. The positive cases resulted in 8 students and no staff being quarantined for the amount of days necessitated per ADH directive. Parents of the students who are considered close contacts have been notified. Due to HIPPA, no identifying information can be shared.
ACHI has updated the COVID-19 data. We remain on orange and will continue to wear masks through next week. An update will be provided once the data is updated on Thursday, December 9.

The Bald Knob cheer squads competed in the ACCA Cheer Competition in Jonesboro. The Sr high squad placed 2nd in their division, and the Jr high squad placed 1st in their division and Best Band Chant routine. We are so proud of both of our cheer squads. Go Dogs!
Bald Knob High has been recognized by the Office for Education Policy (OEP) at the University of Arkansas as a school where students demonstrated high growth on the ACT Aspire! Awards are based on the 2021 content growth score calculated by the Division of Elementary and Secondary Education. These growth scores reflect how much students at the school improved from 2019 compared to how much they were expected to grow considering prior achievement.
Due to the holiday, current ACHI data is not available. We remain on orange and will continue to wear masks as we return to school this week. An update will be provided once the data is updated on Thursday, December 2.
Due to the floors being waxed, the main gym and red brick will be closed until Friday.

Reminder: Tonight is our Blue/White Game at the HS Gym. The entry fee is a non-perishable food item. The activities will begin at 4:00 with the 7th grade girls to be followed by 7th grade boys, Jr. High girls, Jr. High boys, Sr. High girls, and Sr. High boys. We hope to see you all here tonight to support our BK Basketball teams!
As of November 11, 2021, the Bald Knob School District remains at five or more positive COVID-19 cases in a school. To decrease the risk of further spread, the mandatory mask mandate will remain in effect through Thursday, November 18th at which point we will reevaluate and post an update. Our annual Blessings For Bald Knob will be November 15th-19th this year. For this drive, we will be collecting food and necessities to help the Bald Knob School District Food Pantry. How can you help? Bring in any non-perishable food, personal hygiene, or feminine hygiene item to donate to the pantry. The Bald Knob School Backpack program is a blessing to the students of Bald Knob. The items you donate will directly benefit students in the Bald Knob School District through the weekly backpack programs. Each day bring non-perishable food, personal hygiene, or feminine hygiene items and focus on one of the many blessings that they provide.
Due to a change in the Jr. High schedule, the Blue and White game will be rescheduled for this Friday at 4:00.
As of November 4, 2021, the Bald Knob School District has reached five or more positive COVID-19 cases in a school. These positive cases have resulted in a mandatory mask mandate in effect starting tomorrow, November 5th, and will remain in effect through Thursday, November 11th at which point we will reevaluate and post an update. Once all close contacts have been notified, more information will be shared regarding the number of positive cases identified today and the subsequent number of quarantines.
