The BK Counseling Department is sponsoring the second annual "Blessings from BK" fundraiser. This year we are raising funds for the BK Senior Citizens Center. Change will be collected in each building Nov. 26-30. Flyers will be sent home this week with more information.

As a part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October, Laura, a spokesperson from Victim's Rights AR, spoke with the JAG and FACS students at BKHS. Those students then collected items to assist Hope Cottage, a domestic violence shelter in Searcy.

In their first high school meet, freshmen Tayden Hamrick and Braden Davis notched top-25 finishes at the 3A State Cross Country Meet. Hamrick finished 22nd overall and Davis earned 25th in the competition.
