The Junior High Lady Bulldogs will be in action tonight at 4 PM and 6:30 PM for the 2018 BK Junior High Basketball Tournament! Join us for a great night of cheering on the Bulldogs!


Bald Knob concludes its season with a heartbreaking defeat, falling to Southside 13-10 in overtime.

In their first high school meet, freshmen Tayden Hamrick and Braden Davis notched top-25 finishes at the 3A State Cross Country Meet. Hamrick finished 22nd overall and Davis earned 25th in the competition.


Mr. Gene Kidd volunteers daily in our Early Childhood Center. Staff and students, including Mr. Kidd’s grandson Hudson Mullen, enjoy having Mr. Gene helping them learn. We appreciate all of our volunteers.



Friday is the deadline to register for the December ACT.

Bald Knob Middle School had a record turn out for the Fall Family Night.

The 4th-graders incorporated a Halloween theme into their lessons today. How many seeds are in a pumpkin? Ms. Capps's students can give you the answer.




The elementary science and social studies curriculum night that was scheduled for November 6th has been cancelled. We will host the event at a later date.

Tonight, Bald Knob Middle School is hosting a Fall Family event from 4:00-5:30 pm.
There will be free food and fun. It will be spooktacular!


Fifth grade students went on a field trip to the Toltec Mounds; this field trip aligns with their curriculum for the studies of Pre-Columbian societies. While there, students learned about the ceremonies, life, and early culture of the Plum Bayou people. Students were able to participate in the crafts of pottery and creating their own arrowhead necklace. They also participated in an archaeological mock dig.




Bald Knob falls to CAC 22-19 on Senior Night. The Dogs will travel to Southside in the regular season finale next Friday.





Elementary students had lunch with the Harding University Orchestra before attending an orchestra performance. Orchestra members visited Bald Knob to share their love of music and show our students that the arts are a life long talent.

Day 5 of Red Ribbon Week concluded with mismatch dress up day. Thank you, students and staff, for taking part in this special emphasis week.

Bald Knob School District Administration has been notified the alleged threat reported to us this morning is unfounded and does not involve any of our students. Thank you for your continued support as we continue to work to keep our students safe!

This morning the district received a report that another school district's student made an alleged threat involving a student from another district. Bald Knob School District Administration is in close contact with the district to determined if the threat involves any Bald Knob students. More information will be provided if the situation involves our students as the investigation evolves.

The Dogs descend Mustang Mountain with two big victories. Both the 7th grade (30-0) and junior Bulldogs (42-6) had little trouble in the dispatching of CAC on a rainy Thursday. Congratulations on great seasons!




At the conclusion of the junior high cross country season, freshman Braden Davis holds the state leading time for the 2500m with a time of 9:01.80 at the Sloan-Hendrix Invitational.


Behind individual titles by freshmen Tayden Hamrick and Braden Davis, the Lady Bulldogs and Bulldogs swept the junior team titles at the District Cross Country Meet.
