Parent Night
Fifth grade students went on a field trip to the Toltec Mounds; this field trip aligns with their curriculum for the studies of Pre-Columbian societies. While there, students learned about the ceremonies, life, and early culture of the Plum Bayou people. Students were able to participate in the crafts of pottery and creating their own arrowhead necklace. They also participated in an archaeological mock dig.
