Reminder: Our Middle School Parent Involvement Night is tonight! There will be a Title I meeting starting at 4:30 prior to the main events of the evening starting at 5:00. We look forward to seeing you there!

At tonight's regular school board meeting, the Bald Knob School Board voted to suspend the mask mandate. Though masks are not required, masks are highly recommended. The requirement to wear masks will be monitored every day through the review of the number of positive cases within a school in the district and the number of positive cases within our community as reflected in weekly ACHI data. More information will be forth coming.

Reminder: Tomorrow is a scheduled snow day. There is no school.

We are excited to invite you to our Homecoming celebration tonight. It begins at 6:30 prior to the game starting at 7:00.

Bald Knob Middle School Parent Involvement Night will be on October 26th from 4:30-7:00. Please join us at the middle school for a night of food, entertainment, and information.

Two BKMS students tested positive for COVID-19. This resulted in 10 students being quarantined. Without the mask mandate, 17 additional students would have been quarantined. Parents of students who are considered close contacts have been notified.

If you would like for your student to get a flu vaccine at school on Friday, October 1st. Forms are due first thing tomorrow morning. If they did not bring a form home, each office has extra copies.

The Report to the Public meeting is tonight at 6:00 in the MS/HS cafeteria.

Our annual flu vaccine clinic is scheduled for Friday, October 1st. Packets are being sent home today. If you want your child to participate, this needs to be filled out completely and returned by Wednesday, September 29th.

Due to parent teacher conferences, after school program pick up will be at the Studio today.

Parent-Teacher conferences will be held on September 23rd from 4:00-7:00 PM. Masks are required. We hope to see you there!

On Sept. 23, the AR Dept. of Health will be on campus to administer vaccines to students that lack a Tdap and/or a MCV4. If this applies to your child, an initial letter was mailed last week. Tomorrow, a packet will be sent home that must be completely filled out and signed by a parent/guardian in order for your child to receive their vaccine at schools. This is free of charge. If your child is out of compliance after October 1st, they will not be allowed to attend school.

The Studio after school program will begin tomorrow for K-12 students that are registered. Students will report to the elementary cafeteria after school.
Information about pick up:
K-3 grade students will be picked up at the elementary cafeteria beginning at 4:35.
4-12 grade students will be picked up at the elementary cafeteria beginning at 5:35.
We will be using a drive-through pick-up. Please enter from N. Hickory Street to come up the hill between the Auditorium and the Safe Room. Vehicles will exit between the Elementary School and Administration office onto W. Park Avenue. Please do not enter the pick-up line from W. Park Avenue, as this will be the direction vehicles will be exiting.

There will be an informational meeting for parents of students who will be attending The Studio after school program. The meeting will be Sunday, September 12, at 3:00 in the elementary cafeteria. This is not mandatory. It is being offered for those with questions or wanting to know more about the program.
After school will begin Monday, September 13.
